My Work

Handmade in the Highlands

I create all my fused glass pieces right here in the Highlands, drawing inspiration from the wild, beautiful surroundings around me. From small decorative pieces and jewellery to larger wall art and custom commissions — every item is handmade with care, and shaped by the nature and heritage of this special country.

"Wave making was such a great afternoon. Mel really made us feel so welcome and gave the perfect balance between instruction and allowing us the opportunity to explore creatively. All the materials we needed were available to us in plentiful quantities so we could make the best waves we could imagine. We absolutely loved our time with Mel and both produced waves that we are really proud of."

"If you feel the need to escape for a few hours, spend quality time with close friends or new friends, or even just to liven up a dull holiday — I recommend a few hours fused-glass crafting with Mel of Dizzy Glass. In a tranquil rural location she will guide you through the choices, the process and the possibilities of creating a beautiful object full of colour and light as a keepsake. It's a wonderful way to de-stress, have fun and make something personal and unique. If you are part of a larger group and have a suitable venue she can even come to you! I have had several visits to Dizzy Glass and have always left feeling relaxed and content with having created something special."
